Yes, it's that time of the year when we start planning the next edition of the festival and we are a little bit excited about Polish Film Festival turning ten soon! Would you like to lend your helping hand to make it memorable and fun?

If you're passionate about film, events, or Polish culture, we'd love to have you on board!

Inaugurated in 2015 in Perth, Polish Film Festival will celebrate it's 10th anniversary this year. It will also be the fifth time the PFF is organised in Sydney under the Polish Film Festival Sydney name.

No prior experience? No problem! We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and skill levels. Your enthusiasm and commitment are what matter most.

We have lots of jobs to do before the festival officially opens and you can contribute in many areas - social media, marketing, sponsorship and fundraising, graphic design, or event coordination. You can help in areas you are already experienced in or explore something new. Tell us more about yourself, let us know about your strengths and what you’d like to help with and we’ll get in touch.

WE USUALLY REQUIRE HELP WITH:  

​

 

• Sponsorship, fundraising and sourcing prizes for our audience 

• Communications & marketing, including social media

• Graphic design

• Distribution of flyers and posters 

• Event coordination & ushering 

• Photography (professional equipment preferred but not mandatory)

• Filming and/or video editing (own equipment required)

 

If none of the above roles suit you, there's still a valuable way to contribute: spreading the word! 

No special equipment is required and you can start right away. Simply start by sharing our festival posts on social media. Liking our posts, and leaving positive comments on our Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin pages can make a significant impact. The more people learn about the event, the greater its success will be.

• Be contactable via email and phone

• Be reliable and able to deliver the work they committed to within the agreed timeframe
