Smart, sincere, and deeply relatable, BEAUTIFUL! is a heartfelt comedy-drama that tenderly unpacks how modern life and unrealistic expectations chip away at our self-worth and happiness.
In a world obsessed with perfection, six women — each at a different stage in life — quietly wrestle with the invisible pressures shaping their identities. Each is at a crossroads. Magda, a young mother, struggles to accept her post-pregnancy body and envies her partner’s freedom to pursue his career. Krystyna longs to feel seen by her newly retired husband. Julka, a model, fears losing relevance as her career slowly fades. Joined by Agata, Baśka, and Renata, they quietly battle pressures from social media and society at large, each confronting the gap between who they are and who they think the world expects them to be.
With warmth and insight, BEAUTIFUL! reminds us that happiness often begins with letting go and embracing who we truly are. At the same time, it thoughtfully tackles broader social issues — not just those affecting women, but society as a whole. The film explores the unattainable beauty standards promoted by heavily retouched magazines, the illusion of perfect lives crafted by Instagram influencers, and the relentless pressure to believe we can — and should — have it all. In a balanced way, it also reflects on the challenges men face in a rapidly changing world.
