POLISH FILM INSTITUTE
The Polish Film Institute (PISF) is the main funding body supporting film production in Poland, established in 2005 in accordance with cinematography law passed by the Polish Parliament. It is set up similarly to the mechanisms of support for film industries in many other European countries.
The Polish Film Institute welcomes enquiries from all foreign partners - producers, distributors and filmmakers alike – interested in all forms of collaboration with the Polish film industry. PISF will provide you with all necessary information and guidance regarding Poland, its film potential, legal regulations and suitable locations, and will help you find film professionals with whom to collaborate as well as potential partners for co-productions.
30% cash rebate on productions
Polish Film Institute provides access to a generous cash rebate on productions, including feature films, animations, documentaries, and series made in Poland. The scheme offers reimbursement of up to 30% of eligible expenditures incurred in Poland . The funds are distributed throughout the year on the first come, first served basis.
