This recent box office success with a star-studded cast won the Audience Award at the Warsaw International Film Festival. Set in the bohemian town of Zakopane in the stunning Tatra Mountains, “Dangerous Men” is a fast-paced comedy crime story merging humour, flamboyant historical figures and vibrant Polish folklore to deliver a delightful piece of cinema to be enjoyed by all.

Mountain retreat of Zakopane, 1914. Writer Joseph Conrad and three other eminent figures of the Zakopane bohemia, poet and pediatrician Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński, artist Witkacy and anthropologist Bronisław Malinowski wake up after a crazy drug-filled party with a dead man on their couch and without clues as to who the poor fellow was, why he's dead, or why the gendarme is knocking at the door. A race against time begins to solve the mystery of what happened the previous night.

Featuring an outstanding cast including Tomasz Kot (Cold War, Leave no traces - PFF22), Marcin Dorociński (Mission Impossible 7, Beloved Neighbours – PFF22), Andrzej Seweryn (Man of Iron, The Last Family – PFF2017) that impersonate colourful well-known historic characters in a fictional crime story shot against the backdrop of stunning Tatra Mountains, “Dangerous men” makes for a delightful piece of cinema to be enjoyed by all.

"The all-star cast and director Maciej Kawalski's creative courage are impressive. This is a must see!" — Przemyslaw Bollin, Onet

"This highly complex story quickly draws the viewer in, who, like the characters, wants to find out what happened on a fateful night and where it all leads. And the multitude of new events only inflames our curiosity. The greatest asset of the production, apart from the interesting and intricate story, is the excellent cast - Marcin Dorociński shines in it as Witkacy. " — David Muszynski, Na Ekranie

"Fantastically written and delivered, with great potential to become a cult classic" — Kinoblog
