Kinga Dębska's box office hit BACK THEN is a prequel to her critically acclaimed comedy drama These Daughters of Mine. Marta lives in a small apartment, sharing a room with her younger sister Kasia and their stubborn grandmother who tells them war stories instead of fairytales. Her father Tadek makes attempts at improving their situation but generates only trouble, while her mother Elżbieta, the leader of Solidarity trade union at her workplace, dreams of freedom and travelling abroad. Their uneventful life changes when they finally get their hands on the allotted orange Fiat 126p, allowing them to venture beyond their own country.
