 LIFE MUST GO ON

Fifty-year-old Bartek (Tomasz Kot), once a popular actor and alcoholic, now works in the shadow of his famous colleagues warming up the audience for tapings of popular TV shows. When he's diagnosed with lung cancer and given three months to live, he begins to reassess his life and starts making the best of what’s left by fixing his errors. He makes contact with his ex-wife and an old lover, and also attempts to make up with his resentful daughter. He believes there is no situation without a way out. But can he change his fate and convince the boss in the sky to give his story a happy ending?

The film tells the story of film and theater actor Tadeusz Szymków and is dedicated to him. A black comedy inspired by final stages of his life is based on a script by Cezary Harasimowicz and stars one of the most popular Polish actors, Tomasz Kot, who blew away audiences last year with his outstanding performance as heart transplant surgeon Zbigniew Religa in Gods.
