Natalia and Adam are neighbours and closest friends. They’ve known each other since childhood. Adam proposed to Natalia when he was ten but they have never been a couple. They live in a house divided into two independent apartments. They share some rooms daily while their bedrooms are separated only by a thin wall. Adam, the father of teenage Gabrysia, runs a small travel agency and is recovering after a divorce. Natalia raises her son Kuba alone after the death of her husband.
